Two CCEMS Medic Unit Ambulances Change Locations to Better Serve the Community

Houston, TX September 9, 2020: Two Cypress Creek EMS (CCEMS) medic unit ambulances are settling into their new homes today after moving in with the Little York Fire Department in an effort to improve response times for the community. The agreement with the Little York Fire Department, initially arranged by CCEMS CEO Wren Nealy, will place the medic unit ambulances in areas of the community where needs have increased.

Medic unit 517, previously located near the intersection of FM 1960 Parkway and Ella Blvd is now located at the Little York Fire Department Station 84, which is located at 1220 Rushworth Drive. This will bring an ambulance closer to the Kuykendahl/ Ella Blvd area and reduce response times greatly. Medic unit 57 is now relocated to Little York Fire Department Station 83, located at 11900 Walters.

“As our community grows and residents’ needs change we continually monitor data that indicates where we need to be to respond to emergencies as quickly as possible.
